Ramones - Too Tough to Die 180g (blue cloudy vinyl) VMP exclusive
"Too Tough to Die" is the eighth album by the American punk rock band Ramones, released on October 1, 1984. It was the first featuring Richie Ramone on drums and produced by former member Tommy Ramone. The recording style was similar to their 1976 debut album, with a return to their punk roots in lyrics and music. The cover photo, showing the band’s silhouettes, came about from a camera malfunction by photographer George DuBose.
The album shifted towards punk rock and heavy metal, moving away from the pop sound of previous records. It includes guitar riffs reminiscent of their earlier work, and Dee Dee Ramone takes lead vocals on two tracks. The album features the band's only instrumental song, "Durango 95."
