Add a monumental pillar of 1980s American punk and indie rock history to your collection with Hüsker Dü’s landmark third studio album, New Day Rising. Originally released in January 1985 via SST Records, this explosive record by Bob Mould, Grant Hart, and Greg Norton shattered the boundaries of hardcore punk by injecting soaring guitar melodies, pop hooks, and emotional depth into wall-of-sound distortion.
Featuring blistering underground anthems like the title track "New Day Rising," "I Apologize," "Celebrated Summer," and "Makes No Sense At All," this album remains a massively influential blueprint for alternative rock, grunge, and indie music.
